1,000 Rep Workout

This week I am posting one of my FAVORITE Amp Up Fitness Challenges: 1,000 REP WORKOUT. Each of my clients has tried this workout because what I like to do is provide my clients with ONE Amp Up Fitness Challenge each week to test their bodies limits. My 1,000 Rep Workout works on challenging your muscular endurance and testing out your mental and physical abilities. This workout digs deep into your mind to show your true strength. This is not about how much weight you can use, but how much endurance your body can hold, and strength your mind has, because when you get to that 50 rep mark you know you have 50 more reps to go. Your muscles are sore due to lactic acid build up, glycogen (glucose storage for energy purposes) maybe depleted by this time, but yet you still have 50 more reps to go.

By digging deep into your mind and finding the strength to keep pushing you to the finish line.

HOW TO PERFORM 1,000 REP WORKOUT CHALLENGE:

Each exercise prescribes 100 Reps EACH in as little of sets as possible.

Start out with moderate weight that you can handle for about 20-50 reps. For example: this will be 50% One Rep Max OR 30% less weight that you use to complete 10-15 reps.

So if your max squat is 250lbs that means you will start with 125lbs.

If you can achieve 10-15 reps with 185lbs strive for 130lbs (30% less) for 20-50 reps with NO REST. Then once you reached slight failure with 130lbs, drop set the weight by 20% (105lbs) and complete until slight failure again.

Repeat this method until you COMPLETED 100 REPS!
